Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians, including performance management, training, and skills development
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues and coordinate timely corrective repairs
• Troubleshoot and oversee repairs involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility systems
• Partner closely with production leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and coordinate equipment availability and downtime
• Manage relationships with outside contractors and vendors for equipment repairs, service agreements, parts, and facility maintenance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection documentation, and equipment histories through the company’s CMMS
• Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory to ensure critical materials are readily available
• Monitor maintenance expenses and manage departmental spending in accordance with established budgets
• Track maintenance performance metrics and analyze trends to identify opportunities for improved reliability, efficiency, and cost control
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and replacement projects
• Maintain equipment power consumption data and support the company’s annual arc flash safety program
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and applicable regulations
• Participate in department and company-wide risk assessments and management review processes
• Evaluate technician skill sets and identify opportunities for additional training and professional development
• Identify and implement new technologies, processes, and maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability and operational performance
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical degree, certification, or formal training in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical systems, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
• At least 2 years of maintenance supervisory or management experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and maintenance teams
• Working knowledge of industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, and facility systems
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Experience working with CMMS platforms and maintenance reporting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and industrial safety practices
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with production, engineering, vendors, and plant leadership
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
