Join Lief Labs as a Maintenance Lead and provide hands-on technical guidance to maintenance technicians and mechanics. You will help troubleshoot equipment issues, reinforce standard work, support training, and improve equipment reliability while contributing to daily production and quality goals.

This is a non-supervisory lead role focused on technical mentorship, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to maintenance technicians and mechanics.
• Support work orders, preventive maintenance, tooling, equipment readiness, and inventory checks.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Participate in daily huddles and communicate progress, challenges, and maintenance needs.
• Deliver hands-on training and identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and quality investigations.
• Reinforce safety procedures, standard work, and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and the Maintenance Supervisor to meet operational goals.

How You’ll Lead

This individual-contributor role provides technical guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training without direct supervisory authority.

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of maintenance technician or mechanic experience.
• Familiarity with cGMP, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This is an active manufacturing-floor role requiring extended standing, walking, bending, and crawling. Must frequently lift or move 10–50 pounds and have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. No travel required.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour

Starting pay is determined by several factors including experience, skills, education, training, and market conditions.
