Maintenance Lead Person

JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Lead Person is responsible for leading the facility maintenance system, including:
- Spare parts inventory
- Maintenance planning
- Procurement
- Vendor management
- Training and development of maintenance technicians
This role provides technical leadership while helping ensure equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead team huddles and collaborate during daily production meetings
- Participate in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and provide equipment status updates
- Develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs
- Coordinate repair transactions and research parts
- Obtain quotes and identify alternative solutions
- Confirm spare parts inventory accuracy
- Coordinate purchasing of new and replacement parts with the fellow team lead
- Examine, stock, and distribute materials in spare parts inventory and on manufacturing lines
- Conduct equipment failure analysis, document findings, and report results to the supervisor
- Maintain subject matter expertise across multiple plant areas and equipment
- Train and develop maintenance technicians on equipment and procedures
- Mentor technicians, provide constructive feedback, and communicate performance issues to management
- Keep maintenance shops and spare parts areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety initiatives
- Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personal work practices
- Immediately report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
- Maintain the knowledge and experience expected of a Level II Maintenance Technician
- Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- High school diploma required
- At least 5+ years of maintenance and electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
