Job Title: Maintenance Integration Engineer

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $52-$85/hr

Employment Type: 12 month contract to hire

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Maintenance Integration Engineer for a leading advanced nuclear reactor development organization which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in nuclear systems maintenance design, equipment maintainability, and integrated plant engineering looking to further their career in nuclear technology.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and procedures for advanced nuclear reactor systems, components, and novel designs
  • Support design teams to ensure plant structures and systems are optimized for effective equipment maintenance throughout facility lifecycle
  • Create and maintain system-level maintenance specifications, technical requirements, and guidance documents for reliable operations
  • Lead maintenance-focused design reviews, coordinate technical interfaces, and develop training materials for operators and technicians

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Nuclear, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline; 5+ years of direct experience in naval or commercial nuclear plant maintenance and/or operations
  • Strong understanding of nuclear regulations, plant work control processes, operational design philosophies, and configuration management principles
  • Experience with design control tools, nuclear quality standards (ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001), and demonstrated technical writing and communication skills
