Basic Job Functions:Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- Safety First: Lead by example in always following and promoting safety policies and procedures
- Maintenance of processing equipment, to include cleaning as needed:
- Help identify worn, damaged, or unsafe equipment conditions
- Assist with welding, cutting, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Perform hands-on maintenance and repair work on shredder-related equipment
- Team Collaboration: Support fellow team members and assist with various tasks as needed to achieve our goals.
- Customer Service: Assist and guide customers to the appropriate locations for unloading materials.
Pay starts at $20-$24
Minimum Qualifications:- 2 years of experience in working outdoors.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with teammates and customers.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Monday to Friday: 6 AM - 4 PM- Occasional Saturdays: 6 AM - 12 PM (as needed during critical repairs and maintenance)
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with heavy equipment and manufacturing is preferred.
