Position Description

Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Group Leader for a full time position with benefits.

Job duties and responsibilities:

* Supervise construction/maintenance skilled trades personnel.
* Manage attendance of employees.
* Effectively utilize employees, materials and equipment.
* Implement continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities.
* Implement safety and good housekeeping practices.
* Implement divisional and corporate policies.
* Maintain appropriate records and monitor trades effectiveness.
* Implement lean principles.
* Provide leadership, support and feedback to skilled trades team with respect to goals and specific metrics.
* Support the Plant Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.

Primary Skills Required

* Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.* Supervision of construction/maintenance skilled trade personnel.

Primary Skills Preferred

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or Journeyman’s Card or Management / Maintenance Related Experience.

Education Preferred

* 5 years experience in a supervisory role with emphasis in manufacturing and maintenance.* Manufacturing plant experience, automotive desired.
