HIRING - Maintenance Gardener: responsible for maintaining the health, appearance, and cleanliness of gardens, lawns, landscaped areas, and outdoor grounds. The role involves planting, pruning shrubs, watering or adjusting timers, repair/replace pop-up sprinklers, mowing, and general landscape maintenance to ensure attractive and safe outdoor environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns, prune hedges, and edge walkways.
- water, fertilize, and prune flowers, shrubs.
- Remove weeds, leaves, and other debris from landscaped areas.
- Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases.
- Operate and maintain gardening and landscaping equipment.
- Maintain, and repair irrigation systems.
- Apply fertilizers.
- Maintain clean and attractive outdoor spaces.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and grounds improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of plant care and irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
