    Maintenance and Equipment Technician

    We are seeking a skilled and hands on Maintenance and Equipment Technician to support the operation, repair, and reliability of advanced manufacturing and facility equipment. This is a critical role that helps ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.

    Schedule

    • 2nd shift
    • Weekends may be required as needed

    Position Overview

    In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on specialized equipment including deposition coating chambers, polishing tools, and facility systems. You will play a key role in maintaining uptime and supporting overall production performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment improvements
    • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and control system issues
    • Maintain accurate documentation in CMMS systems such as Fiix
    • Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs
    • Manage spare parts and maintain inventory levels
    • Support facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure systems
    • Assist with hazardous and non hazardous waste processes
    • Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and performance improvements
    • Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and leadership teams
    • Follow all safety, quality, and procedural requirements

    Qualifications

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in equipment or industrial maintenance
    • Experience with vacuum systems or technical manufacturing environments preferred
    • Technical trade school, military training, or associate degree a plus
    • Experience in cleanroom or high precision manufacturing environments is a plus

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems
    • Clear communication and team collaboration skills

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights when required
    • Exposure to manufacturing environments including machinery, noise, and chemicals
    • Ability to wear required PPE and work in cleanroom conditions
