    The Maintenance Equipment Assembler performs general equipment assembly, as well as light repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, as directed by work orders, inspection lists, or the Maintenance Supervisor.

    Responsibilities

    • Assemble equipment to meet production demands.
    • Lubricate equipment and perform machine inspections.
    • Complete reports documenting work performed.
    • Repair conveyor belts.
    • Maintain a clean work area and perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
    • Provide suggestions to improve processes, procedures, and departmental operations in support of company goals.
    • Follow all food safety standards and legal requirements.
    • Maintain a positive and constructive work environment within the department and across other departments while promoting teamwork.
    • Work safely and comply with all safety requirements.
    • Participate in monthly departmental meetings.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge and experience with any CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.

    • Ability to work in cold temperature environments as low as -35 degrees.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    What we prefer:

    • Industrial maintenance, electrical and/or electronic training/experience.
