Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt, as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest roomsConducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodationsPaints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVACChecks fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintains an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbsResponds to maintenance orders in a timely mannerFulfills work orders in a timely mannerComplete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problemsPerforms various other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceMinimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferredPreferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplineIn‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentryKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBasic math skillsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to exceed expectations of guests and team membersExcellent time‑management skillsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
