Cascade Management is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for our BRAND-NEW complex in Madison, WI - Illuminate Luxury Residences. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is looking to learn and develop within the multi-family maintenance role. We are a fast-growing, family-owned company with strong ties to the Madison area.
The purpose of this job description is to communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the Maintenance Engineer. Basic Functions:
Responsible for handling all maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Responsible for helping to maintain the property in an attractive, comfortable condition while maintaining proper uniform and professional etiquette.
Responsible for trash pickup, leaf/weed removal, pool operations, snow clearing, and ice treatment on the properties.
Assists in all types of maintenance when necessary and as directed.
Responsibilities:
Complete all tasks regarding maintenance and repair of apartments/common areas per Cascade standards, including proper documentation
Complete all apartment turnovers as assigned and before new tenants moving in
Complete all work orders in a timely and efficient manner, cleaning up after yourself, being professional/friendly to residents and following company policies
Maintain and service general plumbing, electrical & overall maintenance needs of the property to include, but not limited to, replacing/fixing toilets, faucets, shower heads, light switches and fixtures, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, dishwashers, HVAC systems, locking systems, paint/drywall repairs, snow removal, etc.
Ensure landscaping is maintained in proper order including weeding, watering plants/yard, cleaning trash, pruning plants/trees and any other tasks needed to maintain the landscaping
Maintaining the pool, following all local and state testing requirements/procedures, documenting all tasks and required chemical checks, cleaning, and ensuring pool chemical levels are always between required ranges.
Knowing the location of power, water, and gas turnoff valves in the event of an emergency
Occasionally on-call for emergencies (in conjunction with the property manager)
