We're launching a collection of new options to fuel every kind of California dream and we're looking for a colorful character to be a key leader of our growing team.Job Summary:The Maintenance Engineer I H performs installation, repair, upkeep, and day to day general maintenance of hotel facilities.Duties and Responsibilities:Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and proceduresMaintain professionalism at all times with co-workers, contractors and customersAssist team with overall daily operations, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance requirements of buildingRespond, prioritize, complete, and follow-up on customer service requests per Company policyResponsible for all service requests including: lighting, restroom/kitchen plumbing, minor electrical, ceiling tiles, door/lock repairPerform repair and replace electrical receptacles, switches, sensors, lamps, ballasts, and fixturesPerform repair and replace plumbing fixtures, faucets, valves, water heaters, and pipingPerform the following building general maintenance tasks as required: minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, ceiling tiles/grid repair/replacement, wallpaper repair, flooring/base repair, minor concrete repair, etc.Perform or assist with preventive maintenance of building equipment/systems as directedPerform or assist with installation replacement or repair of building equipment/systems as directedPerform fire pump(s) and/or emergency generator(s) tests as requiredUnderstand and perform water treatment testing and report results to supervisorInspect buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment, building issues and unsafe conditionsReport all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concernsMaintain a clean and safe work area at all timesComplete other facility maintenance duties as assignedRespond quickly to emergency situationsComply with Company policies and proceduresMaintain a safe work environment at all times and report any safety concerns/issues to direct supervisorPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to follow directions and training, but work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMay be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays1-2 years experience in HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, mechanical, electrical, carpentry and plumbing trade.Preferred Qualifications:Bilingual (English/Spanish)Knowledge of basic hand/power toolsCustomer service skills, decision making/problem solving skills, and communication skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, move, and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistanceAbility to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, repetitive bending, and other physical activities#J-18808-Ljbffr
