Job Details

Work on Cutting-Edge Automation in One of the Most Advanced Manufacturing Facilities in the Region
We are seeking a hands-on Electromechanical Technician to support the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of highly automated manufacturing and packaging equipment. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, controls, and automation systems in a fast-paced production environment.
You'll work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to keep sophisticated equipment operating at peak performance while supporting new automation initiatives and equipment upgrades.

What You'll Be Working On

Automation, Controls & Production Equipment

Troubleshoot and repair automated filling, labeling, capping, cartoning, coding, conveying, and packaging machinery
Support PLC and HMI-controlled manufacturing equipment
Diagnose and repair servo motors, motion control systems, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and safety devices
Assist with automation upgrades, equipment enhancements, and process optimization initiatives
Support startup, commissioning, testing, and validation of new equipment
Perform production changeovers and automation adjustments

Electrical & Controls Troubleshooting

Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, I/O drawings, and P&IDs
Troubleshoot motors, drives, control panels, relays, sensors, safety circuits, and electrical systems
Perform wiring repairs and electrical component replacements
Assist with industrial network and communication system troubleshooting
Support PLC diagnostics and minor programming modifications

Mechanical Maintenance

Maintain pumps, mixers, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts, and drive systems
Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Perform precision equipment adjustments, alignments, rebuilds, and installations
Execute preventative and predictive maintenance activities

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders and maintenance records
Conduct root cause failure analysis on recurring equipment issues
Recommend and implement reliability improvements to reduce downtime
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives


What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience as an:

Electromechanical Technician
Industrial Maintenance Technician
Automation Technician
Mechatronics Technician
Industrial Electrician
Maintenance Mechanic
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills within a manufacturing environment


Preferred Experience

Automated manufacturing or packaging equipment
PLC-controlled production systems
Servo motors and motion control systems
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
480V electrical troubleshooting
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
High-speed production or packaging lines
GMP-regulated manufacturing (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, personal care, etc.)
