DPP is seeking a
Maintenance Electrical Technician for an opportunity with our client in the steel manufacturing industry.
Work Location: Onsite in Lexington, NC
Position Summary: - The Lexington Maintenance ElectricianTechnician’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of our customers by executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives.
- This includes troubleshooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvement, assisting with documentation and training for all equipment and other duties as assigned.
- The Electrician is expected to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Required Qualifications:- 4 years of experience working in industrial (or comparable) Electrical maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience in Steel Mill electrical maintenance.
- Demonstrated understanding of Power concepts.
- Demonstrated understanding of Automation technologies.
- Demonstrated basic hydraulic/mechanic understanding.
- 2-year degree in electrical or related field.
