We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our nursing home facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, repair, and safety to ensure a clean, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulations
Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and inspections
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Qualifications:
Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Understanding of regulatory requirements in a long-term care setting is a plus
