Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department.
- Ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
- Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Manage maintenance supplies, work orders, and department records.
- Ensure life safety systems and emergency equipment are properly maintained.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Director in a skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to maintenance needs.
