The maintenance role is a working position responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Maintains, services and performs repairs on equipment in order to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems. Maintenance work may be elevated up to 200'.
Performs equipment adjustments and repairs, preventative maintenance troubleshooting and emergency breakdowns. Performs specific duties during both production and non-production hours in a timely manner with OSHA Lockout/Tagout and Company safety regulations. This equipment includes the following: loaders, excavators, forklifts, skid steers, belt conveyors, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, dust collection systems and bucket elevators.
Assist in providing housekeeping services at the facility. This will include but is not limited to cleaning all areas of the structures as well as all outside areas. The position will maintain a safe environment at all times and report any unsafe practices or potential hazards to the Facility Manager at the first opportunity.
Maintain high level of maintenance and chemical storage records for organic food grade facility and keep MSDS updated at least monthly for compliance.
