We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a supervisory role in a leading corrugate manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to drive departmental goals and ensure optimal performance. Ideal candidates will possess in-depth experience in a facility that specializes in converting paper to boxes, including operations involving BHS converting machines. With over two years in supervisory positions or as a Team Lead, you'll be ready to step into a management position within two years.
Candidates should have robust expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical and pneumatic systems, preferably in unionized work settings. Your everyday tasks will include managing department inventory levels and aligning budgeting activities to meet operational necessities while maintaining strategic cost containment. You will have strong leadership skills to guide and improve safety protocols, machinery efficiency, and plant operation downtimes through training and development initiatives. Additionally, support will be required for operational duties such as workforce scheduling, leading shift meetings, and steering strategic goal achievements.
