Job Description Summary
The CMMS Coordinator is responsible for the administration, integrity, and optimization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), while supporting preventative maintenance execution as operational priorities allow. This role ensures maintenance activities are effectively scheduled, tracked, and reported, supported by accurate asset, work order, and inventory data to drive operational reliability and performance.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm *
Job Responsibilities
CMMS Administration & Ownership:
Serve as the primary owner and system administrator for the CMMS platform
Maintain and optimize asset hierarchy, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all equipment records
Schedule and manage preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with established standards
Create, assign, and prioritize work orders in alignment with operational needs
Monitor and manage maintenance backlog to ensure timely resolution and resource alignment
Maintenance Planning & Reporting:
Track and monitor completed, active, and overdue work orders, proactively addressing gaps
Generate, analyze, and distribute maintenance performance metrics and reports
Support root cause analysis efforts through accurate data capture and system insights
Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency
Inventory & Parts Management:
Maintain accurate spare parts inventory within the CMMS
Establish and monitor min/max inventory levels to support maintenance readiness
Partner with procurement or operations teams to ensure availability of critical components
Preventative Maintenance Execution:
Perform routine preventative maintenance activities as operational capacity allows
Support maintenance team priorities to ensure equipment uptime and safe operation
Adhere to all safety, compliance, and operational standards
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
