Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate maintenance jobs and projects with operations groups
• Maintain equipment information and repair files
• Manage, procure, and enter data for equipment and repair parts
• Perform preventative and proactive maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate and accountable inventory of spare parts and regularly replenish
• Responsible for shipping and accounting for returns, and parts sent in for repair
• Call vendors and suppliers for parts and services quotes
• Provide monthly management reports as directed
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization
• Learn the plant process for a better understanding of how the equipment is utilized
• Assist in identifying safety hazards and/ or regulatory compliance problems

Working Hours:

• Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm and must be available for overtime work and/ or on a call-in basis as required as the plant is operational 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, fabrication, welding and basic electrical repair
• Experience in operation of a dry-mill ethanol plant, manufacturing, and production helpful
• Experience in the repair of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, airlocks, agitator assemblies, piping systems, boiler operation, conveyors, etc.
• Ability to write, read, and interpret documents, drawings, and reports
• Knowledge and ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
