    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing non-technical general building maintenance, grounds upkeep, light custodial and minor repair duties.

    This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

    What You'll Do:

    • Maintain all the greenhouses and the common areas of the facility.
    • Dusting stairs, walls, doors and windows throughout the building.
    • Washing walls, windows and doors.
    • Sweeping and leaf blowing the parking lot and dumpster area.
    • Removing all trash from the facility and following proper waste disposal.
    • Leaf blowing, pressure washing, and sanitizing greenhouses using backpack sprayers.
    • Keeping the floors clean and clear of debris, water and algae.
    • Loading all the trash and discarded plants into bins and taking them to the dumpster or the compactor.
    • Separate pots from the discarded plants and save them to be palletized and wrapped
    • Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
    • Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
    • Performs general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading and moving materials.
    • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and reporting bulbs and lamps that need to be replaced.
    • Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, pulling weeds, sweeping, leaf blowing and snow removal.
    • Performs housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
    • Patrols grounds, common areas and parking lot. Identifies and reports maintenance hazards and other property condition concerns.
    • Performs minor repairs under supervision.
    • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    What You'll Need:

    • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
    • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
    • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
    • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
