    Maintenance Coordinator

    Location: Sugar Creek, MO

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to support plant maintenance operations and serve as a key partner to the Maintenance Manager. This role will lead daily maintenance work management, scheduling, shutdowns, contractors, and reliability initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead maintenance work planning, prioritization, scheduling, and execution.
    • Coordinate daily maintenance activities with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Procurement.
    • Manage maintenance backlog, PM/PdM compliance, and CMMS records.
    • Lead major plant shutdowns, outages, equipment overhauls, and contractor activities.
    • Support maintenance budgets, cost tracking, and contractor management.
    • Drive equipment reliability, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to maintenance teams.
    • Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
    • Monitor key maintenance KPIs and support operational excellence initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • 7–10 years of maintenance experience; cement manufacturing experience highly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent Millwright Foreman experience and certifications.
    • Strong experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting and plant maintenance.
    • Proven experience leading major shutdowns/outages and managing contractors.
    • Experience with CMMS systems such as Tabware, SAP, Oracle, or Maximo.
    • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance, reliability, and RCFA is preferred.
    • Ability to travel up to 10%.
