    Description

    MAU is hiring a Maintenance Controls Manager for our client in Conway, SC. As a Maintenance Controls Manager, you will lead maintenance reliability and controls efforts to improve equipment reliability, increase on-stream time, reduce costs, support plant capacity, and maintain safety performance in a 24/7 manufacturing plant. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

    Shift Information

    • 24/7 manufacturing plant

    Required Education and Experience

    • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with experience in highly technical operations/facility management
    • 5-7 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
    • Maintenance engineering skills
    • Ladder logic programming experience related to process automation and control
    • PLC experience, including required Allen-Bradley experience

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Six Sigma skills
    • Microsoft Office, CMMS, and Oracle experience
    • Working experience with Siemens control systems

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to continuously communicate with maintenance and plant operations
    • Technical competence in reliability techniques and equipment
    • Ability to develop and implement reliability programs to achieve business goals
    • Ability to achieve cost reduction through simplification of part/component design
    • Ability to increase plant capacity
    • Compliance with ITAR and/or EAR requirements
    • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 and 15 C.F.R. § 772.1
    • Must provide proof substantiating status as a U.S. Person

    Essential Functions

    • Lead efforts to maintain a World Class Safety program and Safety Performance
    • Set goals and develop and implement programs to achieve plant and business objectives
    • Increase on-stream time and reduce costs through improved equipment reliability
    • Track and trend reliability metrics, including TBC and costs
    • Apply preventive, predictive, and proactive tools and programs effectively
    • Take an active role in maintenance activities
    • Plan plant performance improvement trials
    • Conduct plant performance improvement trials
    • Analyze plant performance improvement trials
    • Summarize plant performance improvement trials
    • Coordinate with engineers, maintenance, and operators to implement new process operating conditions and procedures
    • Respond as required to specific equipment and performance problems
    • Maintain the integrity of all drawings, specifications, programs, compliance/inspection records, and other documentation
    • Adhere to all ISO system requirements
