Pay is $18–$20/hour (DOE) | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday | Weekends as job demands | Weekly pay every Friday | OT opportunity available | Earn for example ~$990–$1,100/week gross at 50 hrs with OT
Position Overview
The Maintenance Assistant supports equipment readiness and asset utilization by performing low-level maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors. This role operates within the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) division and plays a key part in ensuring equipment is delivered on time and maintained according to established standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, follows procedures precisely, and contributes to a continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform low-level, noninvasive maintenance tasks as assigned by the TLM Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, or Technician
- Maintain accurate records in the CMMS, including work orders, parts used, labor costs, and equipment movement history
- Ensure all assigned equipment is serviced in accordance with the relevant maintenance programs and standard work procedures
- Comply with all Division TLM standards and transactional discipline requirements within business systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase asset utilization and Maintenance Technician productivity
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work under direct supervision in a structured maintenance environment
- Basic understanding of maintenance operations, equipment handling, or related industrial experience preferred
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard work procedures
- Availability to work weekends as operational demands require
