    Maintenance Assistant

    Join our team at Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center!

    Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a long-term care and rehabilitation center in Newtown, PA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team! As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various maintenance and repair tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facility, including but not limited to: preventative building maintenance services, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping

    • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

    • Demonstrate flexibility in order to meet the needs of our residents and willingness to learn new skills

    • Support the team by working in a cohesive team-oriented manner and multi-tasking as needed

    • Provide attention to detail in all aspects of work

    • Utilize basic knowledge of HVAC systems

    • Problem-solve in a manner that benefits the care being provided to our residents

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Knowledge of HVAC helpful

    We offer two shifts:

    • 7a-3p or 10a-6p, Weekend Availability
