Maintenance Assistant - Kutztown PA

The Maintenance Assistant (MA) works within the Maintenance Team and is responsible for general shop cleaning, minor mechanical repairs and other duties. The MA is expected to be a team player in the Maintenance Department.
Duties of the position include:
Grounds maintenance including mowing lawn & weed trimming.
Cleaning company vehicles including company trucks/tractors.
Safety Inspections of fire extinguishers, exit signs, etc.
General Shop Cleaning
Empty bins of trash and recycling around the yard and in the office.
You may have the opportunity to be trained on inspection and maintenance of equipment.
What Were Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Interest in diesel, trailer, automotive, agricultural, or heavy equipment maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and commitment to safety
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Valid drivers license required
