    Internal Job Description

    This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

    Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •              Perform routine preventative maintenance repairsPerform preventing maintenance
    •              Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipmentMinimize downtime due to equipment failure
    •              Support production in addressing equipment problems during shiftHandle all mechanical problems that may arise
    •              Ensure work area is clean at all timeRecord keeping and attention to detail

      REQUIREMENTS:

    •              Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shiftAbility to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
    •              Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per dayRepetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping
    •              Frequent overhead workBasic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements
    •              Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certificationMust be enrolled in a mechanical training program (example: C4, North Arkansas Community College)

      Disciplinary warnings – i.e. no written warnings, written warning with suspension in the previous six (6) months. 

      This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only
