    HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance & Installation Technician in the Manufacturing industry in Ocala, FL!


    Salary: $20-25/hr

    Shift: Day Shift (travel heavy, up to 75%)

    Location: Ocala, FL

    About the Role

    This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment while providing technical support and training to customers. The position combines hands-on mechanical and electrical work with significant travel to customer sites.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues

    • Install, test, and commission industrial machinery and equipment at customer locations

    • Lead mechanical assembly and electrical installation activities while ensuring quality standards are met

    • Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation

    • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections

    • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs and installations

    • Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures

    • Provide technical support and resolve customer equipment concerns in a professional manner

    • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

    • Document service activities, repairs, and installation work performed

    • Travel to customer locations to support installation, startup, maintenance, and repair projects

    • Support additional maintenance and service activities as assigned


    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Industrial Electrical, Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred

    • 5–7 years of combined mechanical and electrical experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

    • Strong troubleshooting experience with industrial mechanical and electrical systems

    • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

    • Strong customer service and technical support experience

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems

    • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    • Valid driver's license required


    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in industrial environments

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

    • Ability to work around moving machinery, electrical equipment, and outdoor conditions

    • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible schedules as needed


    Travel Requirements

    • Up to 75% travel required to support customer installations, service, and maintenance activities
