GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Supervise the maintenance activity through the implementation of a preventive maintenance program and an ongoing maintenance repair program for the facility, production maintenance and process equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate and perform maintenance of building, machinery and grounds, procurement of necessary materials.
Manage or assist with facility renovations, upgrades, contractor assignments.
Support environmental requirements, hazardous waste, health and safety for the facility, including but not limited to lock out-tag out, fire sprinkler system and extinguishers, forklifts.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 initiatives
Make recommendations on building maintenance needs and improvements.
Install electrical conduit, wiring switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors and other such equipment.
Test, maintain and evaluate electrical equipment.
Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering and plumbing.
Prepare accurate records for preventative and predictive maintenance.
Follow established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.
Performs other duties as necessary.
