In this role one operates and maintains the equipment and fixtures within the medical center using acceptable work practices and following hospital and departmental guidelines to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors. Graduate of an accredited trade school in refrigeration, electricity, building maintenance or other appropriate course or equivlvent in work experience.

Responsibilities/Job Description:

Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN is hiring a Maintenance Engineer. In this role one operates and maintains the equipment and fixtures within the medical center using acceptable work practices and following hospital and departmental guidelines to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors.

 

Schedule:  Monday to Friday/  0630 to 1500, full time 80 hours in two weeks

Every third week it will be M-W with Th and F off and working Saturday and Sunday.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited trade school in refrigeration, electricity, building maintenance or other appropriate course
• 5 years

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years in operation and maintenance in commercial, industrial or institutional environment
• Possesses or will strive to obtain a valid Minnesota Maintenance Electrical license
• Graduate of an accredited trade school in refrigeration, electricity, building maintenance or other appropriate course or equivlvent in work experience.
• Electrician Minnesota Maintenance Electrical License

 

Qualifications:

$41.52- $41.52 Hourly
