mainframe programmer/developer

Position: mainframe programmer/developer
Location: Pennington, NJ
Onsite: 3 days a week
Contract: 6-18 months
Interview process: 1 video interview then one face to face interview (must face to face)


Mus have: Cobol, DB2, JCL, mainframe batch processing (midnight cycles/end of day), good communication skills

Core Requirements:

• COBOL
• DB2
• JCL
• Mainframe batch processing (end-of-day / midnight cycles)

Environment Specifics:

• Fully classic mainframe environment
• No CICS involvement needed
• Covers full lifecycle of batch-oriented processing

" Agile framework experience required
" Tools:

• Jira / Horizon
• Endevor (code repository)
• ISPW (nice to have; transitioning toward it)
• Octane (testing; previously test scripts)
• Exposure to Copilot for code rewrites/modifications
