Title: Mainframe Lead
Duration: 6-12 months with possible extension
Location: Sunrise FL
Salary Range: $40 -$45 an hour on W2/C2C
Job Description:
Technically lead a Mainframe migration to Java engagement end-to-end. Independently own and drive the project, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Act as the primary technical point of contact for the engagement. Provide technical guidance and direction throughout the migration lifecycle. Coordination & Delivery Coordinate with external teams and vendors to align deliverables, timelines, and technical dependencies. Analyze existing IBM Mainframe systems and support migration strategy and execution. Resolve technical challenges and remove blockers across teams. Preferred Prior experience in mainframe modernization / migration to Java projects. Experience leading technical teams or engagements. Strong communication and leadership skills.
