Job Title : Mainframe Developer
Location : Phoenix, AZ (Day 1 Onsite)
Mode of interview : In person (F2F)

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in application development, maintenance, and support, along with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and production support.
Troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development and deployment.
Prepare technical documentation and follow coding standards.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
Experience with VSAM, IMS, and TSO/ISPF.
Knowledge of Mainframe utilities such as IDCAMS, SORT, and File Manager.
Experience in batch processing and online transaction processing.
Familiarity with version control and change management tools such as Endevor or Changeman.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail domains.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of API integration or Mainframe modernization initiatives is an added advantage.

Experience: 4–10+ years

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
