We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Batch Processing, and Stored Procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong application development expertise and be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. Experience with AWS databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
• Develop solutions using COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and Batch Processing technologies.
• Create and optimize DB2 Stored Procedures, SQL queries, and database objects.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and developers to deliver business solutions.
• Support application modernization initiatives involving AWS databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Participate in SDLC activities including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Mainframe Development.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and Batch Processing.
• Experience developing and maintaining Stored Procedures.
• Strong debugging, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with application design, coding, testing, and production support.
• Knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Exposure to Mainframe modernization and cloud integration projects.
• Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domain experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices
