Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe Developer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate will Develop and maintain mainframe applications by designing, coding, testing, and debugging solutions using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and related technologies.

Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mainframe Developer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and VSAM technologies.

• Perform coding, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality and reliable software deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.

• Develop and support batch processes, stored procedures, and database integrations across mainframe and AWS database environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe application development and support.

• Strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, Batch Processing, Stored Procedures, CICS, and VSAM.

• Experience with code reviews, debugging, testing, and delivering high-quality software solutions in a production environment.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
