About the Role:
Triunity Software is looking for a talented Mainframe professional to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications and batch processing systems
- Write and debug COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe-based programming languages
- Perform system analysis, design, and implementation on IBM z/OS mainframe platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Monitor mainframe performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and uptime
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of mainframe applications
- Support data management tasks including DB2, VSAM, and IMS database operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mainframe development and/or administration in an enterprise environment
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS operating systems
- Experience with IBM mainframe tools such as ISPF, SDSF, and TSO/ISPF
- Familiarity with DB2, VSAM, or IMS database platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
