Role: Mainframe Developer
Location : Malvern, PA - Hybrid
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- A Mainframe Developer required in developing and maintaining applications on mainframe systems, typically using languages like COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
- Strong knowledge of DB2. What are the key responsibilities of a Mainframe Developer in Defect Squad
- Key responsibilities will include coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining mainframe applications, resolving data defects as well as collaborating with other product teams to ensure system performance.
Qualifications:
- Skills required include proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, problem-solving abilities, and experience with mainframe tools and utilities.
- Creating high-performance, mission-critical applications Analyzing user requirements and developing software solutions
- Ensuring software applications meet all performance and security requirements
- Working with other developers to create high-performance, scalable applications
- Researching new technologies and software development trends Providing technical support and troubleshooting
- Writing technical documentation
