Job Summary (Mainframe Developer COBOL/CICS, Automotive Finance):
- Develop and support large-scale mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and MQ
- Provide production support, troubleshoot and resolve batch and online system issues
- Analyze and optimize daily/monthly batch processes for efficiency
- Perform impact analysis across multiple enterprise systems and platforms
- Create technical design, development, and estimation documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours batch process support
- Work in a hybrid environment (4 days onsite in Torrance, CA)
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced, production environment
- Communicate technical issues and solutions to stakeholders
- Leverage experience in mainframe environments, with a preference for Automotive Finance domain knowledge
- Exposure to FIS Systematics is a plus
- Utilize strong troubleshooting, debugging, and unit testing skills
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills aligned with client culture
