Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite 3 days/week, with the possibility of 5 days/week at the client's discretion. No WFH option.)

Description:
The role is an IT Support Analyst responsible for L2 production support for Fund Accounting and US Transfer Agency applications. The position requires strong mainframe skills (JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM) and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple technologies. The analyst will work closely with global teams, business partners, and upstream/downstream systems, handling incident management, root-cause analysis, and on-call support. The job requires 8 10+ years of technical experience in a financial environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. The role is Chicago-based, with at least 3 days per week onsite and occasional night/weekend support.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 production support for Fund Accounting and US Transfer Agency applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across multiple technologies.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with global support teams, business partners, and upstream/downstream application teams.
- Monitor application health and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
- Participate in on-call support, including occasional nights and weekends.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking production support environment.
- Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- 8 10+ years of experience in Application Production Support.
- Strong experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.

- Experience supporting applications in a financial services environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams.
- Willingness to work onsite and participate in on-call support.
