Mainframe Application Modernization Developer

Application Modernization Experience Candidates should have practical experience modernizing legacy Mainframe applications, including migration, API integration, optimization, or leveraging modern technologies such as Java/Python alongside Mainframe systems. Integrating Mainframe applications with non-Mainframe environments using APIs .

Position: Mainframe Application Modernization Developer

Location: New York, NY / Pittsburgh, PA
Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days per week at the client location

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe/Application Development
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, and DB2
• Strong experience in Application Modernization
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Language migration
  • Integrating Mainframe applications with non-Mainframe environments using APIs
  • Application optimization/modernization
  • Java or Python integration with Mainframe environments
• Financial Services / Banking experience, preferably Cash Management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work onsite 4 days per week
