Our client is a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturer that is growing again! They are in need of a Machinist who is looking for a hands-on role with an outstanding employer. This company offers great benefits, plenty of paid time off, paid overtime and more!
As a Machinist you will be responsible for:
Setting up, operating, testing and maintaining turning, milling and grinding machines
Working with both CNC and manual machines including mills, lathes and grinding machines
Developing, maintaining and improving processes
Improving machines and tool durability
Taking precise measurements and selecting appropriate machine settings
Ensuring accurate production by reading blueprints, drawings, instructions, etc
Troubleshooting processes
Working on projects
Ensuring quality and safety
To be considered for the Machinist position you must have:
Previous experience with CNC machines and manual machines, relevant trade school experience, or a degree and relevant co-op or internship experience will be considered
Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift (your choice)
Experience with CAD/CAM is a plus
Hands-on ability
Excellent communication skills
