Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for an aerospace manufacturing company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in CNC milling and precision machining looking to further their career in aerospace manufacturing.

• Set up, run, and maintain quality on NC/CNC mills and machining centers to produce aerospace parts to engineering specs
• Read blueprints, edge-find, set machine offsets, and inspect first parts with calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Troubleshoot out-of-tolerance parts, poor finishes, and worn tooling; meet standard times with minimal supervision
• Follow all shop safety guidelines and receive on-the-job training for setups

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years running CNC mills in a manufacturing environment preferred, or a recent Machinist Tech training certificate (entry-level)
• Strong math and blueprint skills, basic G & M code, and basic MS Windows; must pass machine proficiency test
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or asylee/refugee); no sponsorship
