    Position Available: Experienced CNC Machinist
    Looking for first and second shift employees.
     
    What You'll Do
    As a CNC Machinist at AMPG, you'll play a key role in producing precision machined components while ensuring our equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
     
    Responsibilities include:
    • Set up machines on a variety of parts and jobs.
    • Keep machines running efficiently by changing tooling throughout production runs.
    • Perform routine machine maintenance tasks, including topping off oils and monitoring machine condition.
    • Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
    • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues as they arise.
    • Collaborate with fellow machinists and team members to meet production goals.
    What We're Looking For
    We're seeking skilled machinists who are motivated, dependable, and committed to producing quality work.
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably with experience working on machines
    • Ability to accurately measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
    • Knowledge of machine tooling and proper tool usage.
    • Basic understanding of G and M code, including the ability to read programs and understand machine movements.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with fellow machinists.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
    • Willingness to learn and continue developing new skills.

    • CNC turning
    • CNC milling
    • Quality control and part inspection
