    What is the day to day like for a CNC Machinist

    Plan, program, and make parts to meet drawing specifications

    Collaborate with highly skilled machinists to determine the best possible processing for parts requiring multiple operations

    Grow in a culture that promotes continuous improvement of both work and self

    Liberty to experiment with new technologies and practices

    Challenging work that forces you to develop your craft and grow as a machinist

    Program with Mazatrol, Mori Seiki Mapps, and MasterCam or similar

    What you need for this job

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Basic machining knowledge

    4 years of experience required

    NIMS credentials level I & II is a plus

    Able to program with one of the following or similar: Mazatrol, Mori Seiki MAPPS III and/or Mori Seiki MAPPS IV, or MasterCam

    Self-motivation and project drive while working well in a team environment

    Basic machining tools (micrometer, indicator, and other standard machinist tools)

    Talent to work safely

    Drive to recognize and mitigate any unsafe condition

    Ability select appropriate PPE based on job requirements

    Work Schedule

    We generally work first shift Monday-Friday

    Also a position available for a four-day work week on third shift

    Hydromat's workplace is climate controlled through all weather seasons.
