TradeWorX is hiring an experienced
Machinist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Ambridge, PA.
We are looking for a hands-on machinist who can operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and drill presses while also setting up and operating CNC milling equipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable loading provided CNC programs, completing machine setups, and machining components.
This opportunity is well suited for a machinist with a strong manual machining background and practical CNC milling experience.

Pay & Overtime
Pay: $28.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Temp-to-hire opportunity

Job Duties
- Operate conventional/manual lathes to machine components.
- Set up and operate conventional milling machines.
- Operate drill presses for machining operations.
- Upload provided CNC programs into CNC milling equipment.
- Set up CNC milling machines and machine components using supplied programs.
- Perform machining work in accordance with job specifications and instructions.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience operating manual lathes.
- Experience setting up and operating conventional milling machines.
- Experience operating drill presses.
- Practical CNC milling machine operating experience.
- Ability to upload provided CNC programs and complete machine setups.
- Ability to work independently with both manual and CNC machining equipment.

- Has a well-rounded background in manual machining.
- Can transition between conventional and CNC milling equipment.
- Understands machine setup and component machining.
- Is dependable and comfortable working a consistent day-shift schedule.
