Machining Technician

Summary: Responsible for safe, and effective operation of manual, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC controlled machinery for the purposes of manufacturing springs. Primary Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate a variety of machinery used in the production of precision parts.
• Use standard inspection tools (ring, plug, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparator).
• Input CNC programs as needed.
• Participates in lean events, design reviews, cost reductions, cycle time savings, and training.
• Understand and follow established quality and safety standards.
• Follow approved processes to provide finished goods with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.
• Keep an organized work area in order to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
• Interact daily with production coordinators to communicate progress and take additional instruction.
• Performs all other assignments as requested by management
