Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Machining Team Lead - 2nd Shift at our Camarillo, CA facility! The core hours are 2:15pm to 10:45pm Monday - Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $32.50 Plus $ 2.00 Shift Differential per hour.

What you'll do:
The Machine Shop Team Lead is responsible for leading day‑to‑day machine shop operations to ensure work is assigned properly, schedules are met, and quality and safety requirements are maintained. This role supports machinists through hands‑on leadership, troubleshooting machining and process issues, and training employees on equipment, methods, and expectations.
The Team Lead serves as the primary point of contact between the machine shop floor and Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Planning. As a working lead, this position routinely sets up, operates, and troubleshoots CNC and manual equipment, producing parts ranging from simple to complex aerospace components. Work may include prototype, new, or low‑volume jobs where processes are still being developed.

Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 5 years'' experience in machine setups and operation, including CNC and/or manual machining.
A minimum of 1 year of experience leading, training, or mentoring machinists.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Camarillo, CA (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
This position requires access to export-controlled information.
