Drilling, Tapping, and Reaming Holes, Using Hand Saw, Drill Press, and Grinders, Wiring Panels, Installing Communication Blocks, Wiring Ethernet, Wiring Auxiliary Power, Wiring Robots, Bending and Installing Conduit, Preparing Tools with I/O Block, Device Net, and Duct Work. Additional Skills: Wiring Safety Circuits, Tying in Tools and Final Dressing of Tools to Controls, Installing Temporary Power, Running Cords and Drilling Tools per requirements.

Job Description of the Electrician:
Individual is experienced performing Electrician activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance and/or assistance from Skilled Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment.


Electrician Activities:

• Wire machinery from drawings and bill of material
• Wire panels
• Install communication blocks
• Wire Ethernet
• Wire auxiliary power
• Wire robots
• Wire safety circuits
• Wire 480V
• Tie in Tools/Final dress of tools to controls
• Install temporary power
• Bend and install conduit
• Prepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct work
• Verify tags, tag units, and cords
• Run cords and dress tool per customer requirements
• Ability to drill, tap, and ream holes
• Use of hand saw, drill press, and grinders

Requirements of the Electrician position:

• Must be able to provide proven work history
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to work independently with little-to-no instruction/supervision
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Required Skills: Reading Control Drawings, Running 480V Wiring, Terminating PDPS, Hooking Up Robots, Wiring Machinery
