Lead Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
Our Client is seeking a skilled Machine Technical Lead to serve as the primary technical expert for their manufacturing operation. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, mentoring technicians, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Schedule
Choose from:
- Four 10-hour days (6:30 AM 5:30 PM)
- Four 9-hour days plus 4 hours on Friday
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot CNC routers, edge-banders, saws, drills, conveyors, compressors, and related machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Lead maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Train and mentor technicians and machine operators
- Identify process improvements and implement long-term equipment solutions
- Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures
Required:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance or machine technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with CNC and industrial equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture manufacturing
- Familiarity with automation systems such as CODESYS or TwinCAT
