Salary: $17-18 an hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11pm

Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our second shift as a Shop Operator. In this role, you'll work hands-on with machined parts, assist in running lathes, horizontal mills, hydraulic saws, and get the opportunity to operate robot-fed vertical mills. This is a perfect position for someone looking to break into the machining field with the opportunity to grow and be promoted from within.
Responsibilities:
- Operate saws and prepare raw materials per job specifications
- Assist CNC machinists in machine setup and operation
- Deburr and sand machined parts using tools and finishing equipment
- Track inventory and material usage in logs and spreadsheets
- Perform routine maintenance on saws and workspace
- Move materials safely using appropriate tools/equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area
- Follow all company safety protocols and standard procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and computer skills; Excel experience a plus
- Must be detail-oriented, accountable, and self-motivated
- Machine shop experience helpful but not required
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your role
